A quiet week in the country. Most of the tourist attractions are closed Monday and Tuesday, some are closed over the winter period, so it is a good idea to check beforehand. Our stay was at the end of November and both Chartwell and Penshusrt Palace were closed, although Penshurst does have interesting buildings .
